West of England Combined Authority is seeking a Director of Transport Programmes with a salary range of £105,000 to £123,000, located in Bristol. The role involves leading transport programmes that transform lives across the West of England.
The Director of Transport Programmes will be responsible for:
- Leading a high-impact portfolio of various transport projects.
- Contributing to the economic growth and sustainability of the West England Mayoral Combined Authority.
- Connecting people to opportunities and transforming regional mobility.
- Monitoring programme progress to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Developing robust business cases and prioritising funding for impactful projects.
- Overseeing contract negotiation and management aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships with public sector partners, contractors, and consultants.
