The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant, to join the PA team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Mayor by providing personal support to directors in the senior leadership team, including:

  • Complex and proactive diary management - a combination of in day and forward management as well as confidently arranging meetings with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Dealing with Private and Confidential matters professionally.
  • Ensuring directors are well prepared for meetings with briefings from key colleagues.
  • Collaboration with the personal assistant’s team and the wider Executive office.

The salary for this role is £34,434 - £37,280. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
