The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint an Investment Governance Officer to join the Investment Management Team. Your key responsibility in this role will be to help ensure the MCA's investments are effectively managed, monitored and governed, supporting the delivery of the Mayor's priorities and ensuring public funding achieves maximum impact for communities across the West of England. You'll play an important role in maintaining robust governance processes, supporting investment performance and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

- Support investment managers with performance monitoring, issue tracking and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, governance papers and investment management documentation.
- Manage investment information within MCA systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
- Assist with audits, information requests and governance reviews, ensuring records are maintained to a high standard.
- Identify risks, issues and data quality concerns, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Support the continuous improvement of investment management processes, templates and reporting arrangements.

The salary for this role is £38,220 - £41,771. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
