# Reablement Support Officer, Part Time (Reablement West Rehabilitation)## About the roleOur Reablement Support Officers work with a number of people in the community each day. You’ll travel to the people’s homes to support them with regaining skills and confidence to enable them to become more independent, actively promoting their choice and dignity.It’s an incredibly rewarding role, every day and every visit are different! You’ll work with autonomy and independence but within a close-knit team, and you’ll have regular support from the Reablement Team Manager.You’ll also work closely with other our health partners such as the intermediate care team.**Shift Pattern:**Cycle: 4 days on, followed by 4 days off**Shift Breakdown (per 4-day block):**2 Morning Shifts2 Evening ShiftsTotal Weekly Hours: 31.5 hours**Shift Times: 31.5hrs**Morning Shifts: 07:00 – 16.00Evening Shifts: 13:30 – 22:30At £14.88 -£15.68 per hour, depending on experience.Our Reablement Support Officers work with a number of people in the community each day, and because our service operates 365 days a year, shifts will include some weekend working.Your office base will be Chedworth Close in Ecton Brook, Northampton. We pay for whole shifts (not just individual visits) and pay up too 45p per mile.### About youYou’ll be confident working independently and have the ability to handle unexpected situations or challenges, being able to identify the source of a problem and find an effective solution.You’ll need previous experience within a health or social care setting, and either currently have, or be willing to work towards, NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.A **f****ull driving license and access to your own vehicle is required**, as you will travel countywide within Northamptonshire.We will offer a comprehensive induction to the successful candidate.This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
