Early Intervention & Prevention Officer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Identify individuals at risk of homelessness and manage a caseload to provide tailored support.
2. Offer advice and guidance on housing options, income maximisation, and financial support.
3. Build trusted relationships with clients to empower them to sustain their accommodation.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including social care, public health, and voluntary organisations.
5. Support clients with employability, training, and education opportunities.
6. Conduct home visits and maintain accurate case records.

Candidate Requirements:

• Compassionate communicator capable of adapting to different audiences and building rapport.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, benefits systems, and local support services.
• Experience working with vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and willingness to learn new systems.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
