Are you reliable, welcoming and interested in supporting people to take part in sport, leisure and recreational opportunities? We are looking for Casual Activity Leaders to join our Leisure and Culture team across West Norfolk, assisting with birthday parties, drop-in programmes, holiday clubs and other community-based provision at our centres.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You will help supervise groups, provide clear instruction and contribute to a safe, positive environment for children, young people and other participants. Whether supporting a busy holiday club, helping with a party or assisting in more structured activity delivery, you will play an important part in making sure those attending have a good experience.

You will also help the sessions run smoothly by following safeguarding, health and safety and data-protection procedures, completing basic administration such as registers, safety checks and session plans, and working constructively with colleagues, coaches, partner organisations and customers.

We would like to hear from people who communicate well, are customer-focused and have experience of working with children in a sport or leisure environment. An awareness of safeguarding and health and safety is essential, coaching or instructing skills would be an advantage, and flexibility is important as work may include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure, through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Closing Date: 30 September 2026
