Marshland High School are looking for a Cleaner to clean a designated area of the school.
Salary: Scale A, Pt 2, £12.65/hour (Increasing to £12.85 April 2026)
Hours: Monday - Friday – 12.5 hours per week – 2.5 hours per day, 39 weeks – term time plus INSET days - 3.30pm – 6.00pm
Responsibilities:
- To clean a designated area of the school to the standard laid down by the school.
- Cleaning tasks to include vacuuming, mopping, buffing, washing surfaces, removing graffiti and chewing gum and cleaning toilet areas.
- General cleaning tasks as required.
- To provide relief cover during times of staff absence.
- To replenish sanitary materials (toilet paper, paper towels and soap).
- Undertake other similar duties and activities that fall within the grade and scope of the post as directed by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team.
- Undertake all required training.
