Senior Manager, M&A (ERP Transformation)

Our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice (M&A) is seeking a Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing team in London, UK. In this dynamic role, you will work with our international M&A practice servicing corporate and private equity clients, leading functional and technical assessments during the due diligence phase and leading large transformational programs as part of carve‑out or merger integration transactions. You will help shape office culture and participate in entrepreneurial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams serving clients across industries, demonstrating executive presence with C‑level client counterparts.
  • Facilitate due diligence projects focused on identifying functional and technology strategy, organizational structures, and current state business processes.
  • Assess functional and technology investment strategies and benchmark against industry best practices.
  • Lead engagement teams, preparing request lists and agendas, facilitating client reviews, and overseeing deliverables.
  • Lead large transformational programs for carve‑out or merger integration transactions, providing strategy, QA and PMO support across ERP transformation.
  • Manage project economics: track budgets, invoice, and collection process.
  • Drive development of WMP\’s M&A methodologies and approaches to client delivery.
  • Coach and manage consultants, participating in performance review processes.
  • Translate client strategy into concrete engagements and proposals.
  • Initiate and lead business development meetings with prospective clients.
  • Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments.
  • Participate in recruiting and retaining top quality consultants within the London office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years managing complex operational and/or IT projects in Software/Hi‑tech, Healthcare, or Consumer & Industrial Products/Manufacturing industries.
  • Experience and familiarity with ERP programs/projects preferred but not required.
  • Strong project‑management methodology background (schedule, scope, risk, change, strategic planning).
  • Consulting or M&A experience preferred.
  • Experience in P&L management and financial modeling for M&A synergy and cash‑flow models (a plus).
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue expectations.
  • Proof of right to work permanently in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to travel up to 50 %.
