As an Experienced Consultant, you will work with Private Equity and corporate clients throughout the transaction lifecycle—from platform acquisitions and mergers to integrations and carve‑outs. You'll support engagements spanning technology due diligence, sell‑side readiness, Day 1 planning, post‑merger integration, separation planning, and broader technology value creation initiatives.

Professional Responsibilities

Client Delivery

  • Analyse technology environments to identify transaction risks, operational challenges, and opportunities to create value.
  • Contribute to post‑close engagements including merger integration, carve‑out planning, target operating model design, technology strategy, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop analyses, presentations, and client deliverables that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders across both business and technology functions while collaborating with multidisciplinary West Monroe teams.

Practice Development

  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and intellectual property that strengthen our technology M&A offerings.
  • Help enhance analytical frameworks and presentation materials used across due diligence and technology advisory engagements.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, recruiting activities, and team development.
  • Take an active role in your own professional development through coaching, feedback, and continuous learning.

Business Development

  • Support proposal development, market research, and business development activities alongside senior team members.
  • Assist with preparing client presentations and proposal materials.
  • Build your professional network through participation in industry events and market activities.
  • Stay informed on market trends across Private Equity, technology, and software.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2–5 years' experience in management consulting, technology consulting, transaction advisory, or a technology-focused role within industry.
  • Experience supporting technology due diligence, M&A transactions, technology strategy, or large‑scale technology transformation programmes is preferred.
  • Exposure to software, SaaS, technology‑enabled businesses, or Private Equity environments is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to structure complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing client‑ready presentations and documentation.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative, fast‑paced project teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and ways of thinking.
