We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced individual with an NVQ level 2 in Early Years, to work at Little Herons Nursery based at West Monkton Primary School. The successful candidate will be an excellent early years practitioner who can provide a stimulating, high quality and innovative early years learning experience for our youngest children.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to deliver high quality childcare in a safe and caring environment, for children as young as 2 years of age
  • Monitor key children's development
  • Ensure effective communication with parents, other professionals and outside agencies
  • Be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the children and the setting
  • Support the ethos, vision and Christian distinctiveness

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Early Years
  • Knowledge of OFSTED Standards and Inspections
  • Excellent knowledge of EYFS
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children
  • Demonstrate drive towards absolute excellence
