West Monkton C of E Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teacher on a Maternity Cover basis to start during the Autumn Term of 2026.
Overview of the role
We are seeking an excellent, enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching staff for a Maternity cover placement. You’ll be an experienced Primary teacher delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.

While this role is primarily a classroom teacher position, we are always committed to supporting career progression. There may be opportunities for involvement in leadership development activities during the contract period, subject to the schools needs and candidate interest.
Temporary position, FTE 1.0 Maternity Cover Contract for up to 1 year. Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale - dependent on experience.
