We’re seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our small but high-performing Finance team. This is a great opportunity to work closely within our existing Finance team to ensure that our day-to-day financial processes run smoothly.
We are recruiting to a full-time role (37 hours) but are open to part-time applications (minimum of 30 hours per week).
What could you be doing?
As a new Finance Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, playing an important role in supporting our services. This isn’t just about processing numbers – it’s about supporting a team that’s making a positive impact!
Your key responsibilities will involve accurate financial processing across our purchase, sales and cash ledgers for multiple service streams in addition to managing our busy email inboxes. You will also be required to communicate with your colleagues internally, as well as external suppliers and customers in a professional and helpful way.

We’re seeking a highly organised individual who thrives on variety, has a keen eye for detail and a passion for financial accuracy.
You will either possess a recognised accounting qualification e.g. AAT Level 3 or have demonstrable experience in a similar business accounting role. Your experience should include working with a complete financial management system (preferably Sage) including sales, purchase and cash ledgers and also have an up to date understanding of accounting concepts and processes.
You should be using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel on a daily basis, have strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritise work to effectively meet deadlines.
