Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver environment and energy strategies across sites, ensuring compliance with Group and local requirements.
- Work with the Head of Sustainability to create and implement action plans that achieve environmental objectives and targets.
- Provide line management and development for one direct report, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collect, analyse, and maintain environmental performance data for accurate reporting to the Head of Sustainability and Board-level stakeholders.
- Coordinate environmental management activities, including audits, incident reporting, and initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, waste, and costs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM discipline, with professional membership such as IEMA, CIBSE, or Energy Institute.
- Auditing and compliance expertise, including EMS Internal Auditor certification to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
- Proven experience delivering energy savings programmes across multiple sites, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced analytical and data management skills, including Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
