The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Hours: 40 per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Role requirements

  • To ensure all rides checks and maintenance are undertaken safely and promptly, minimising any disruption to the operation of the park and maximising at all times the number of seats and rides that are operational.
  • Reporting daily inspections and maintenance checks, documenting all corrective works and suggestive corrective actions through the Company's electronic data control system.
  • Work with external and internal customers and contractors in a professional manner.
  • To assist in the building of historical data on ride maintenance/ repairs and producing supporting documentation.
  • To assist with maintenance and safe usage of all available machinery.
  • To assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and all WMSP Health and Safety policies.
  • Responsible to the Engineering Manager for the provision of ride maintenance to the agreed deadlines and within any set budgets.
  • Work on any projects as agreed with Engineering Manager.

Engineering duties

  • To perform repairs and maintenance of the following:
  • Reserve gates
  • Animal enclosures
  • Vehicle repairs
  • And other duties required to assist in supporting the achievements of the engineering department and/or company objectives.

Education / Qualifications

  • City and Guilds in Engineering
  • Ideal candidate: Computer Literate
  • Knowledgeable of Electronic Data Systems (Training will be given)
  • Fabrication and welding assembly background (Desirable but not essential)
