Hours: Continental shifts - 4 hour shifts including days and nights, followed by 4 days off so 16 hour weeks.

Work pattern: Includes evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays.

West Midlands Safari Park is currently sourcing candidates for the role of Guest Services Host. The position delivers a variety of duties, providing outstanding service to ensure that our onsite luxury Safari Lodge guests receive an incredible accommodation experience. This varied and exciting role will require the successful candidates to liaise with potential and confirmed guests by undertaking a range of reception and administrator activities. The role will also conduct a variety of physical guest preparation duties including food, luggage and guest transfers, and be on hand to assist with any other additional guest requests.

About you

As a Guest Services Host you will play an extremely important role. You will be the first and last person that our guests will interact with, and so it is vital that you leave a great long lasting first impression. Your previous experience in a hospitality or accommodation setting will mean you are a people person. Your strong communication skills and customer focused nature will help you to make our guests feel like VIPs, anticipating and delivering beyond their expectations of quality customer service. You will be passionate about attention to detail and will therefore be incredibly attentive with our guests. You will also have strong organisation and administrative skills and enjoy using technology to ensure a more seamless guest experience. You will understand that the role does not come as a 9 to 5 and will therefore be flexible in your approach to working rotating shifts to provide a continuous 24-hour guest service. Due to needing to drive guests into animal restricted areas, you will hold a full, valid driving licence. You will also be willing to undertake a First Aid at Work qualification if you do not already have one.
