This is your chance to join the West Midlands Growth Company as our new PR and Communications Manager. This role will play a key part in telling the story of Birmingham and the West Midlands to the world. Our companypromotes the region\'s economic growth, and this role will be part of our award-winning PR and Communications teams, focusing on developing stories and campaigns that benefit the local Visitor Economy.

What to Expect in This Role

• Promote the region to domestic and international audiences
• Implement a full-funnel communications strategy
• Create expert copy for high-quality editorial
• Lead an always-on content strategy
• Create campaigns, compelling messaging and memorable stories that drive awareness
• Pitch to, host, and build strong relationships with domestic and international media
• Work alongside internal teams and external stakeholders

Are You the Right Fit?

You\'re proactivewith strong writing skills. You\'re happy getting hands-on with content creation as well as comfortable with working bigger-picture strategy. We need someone creative, adaptable and, above all, passionate about tourism and the West Midlands region.
