The West Midlands Combined Authority is seeking a Chief Legal and Governance Officer to ensure decisions are lawful, neutral and well-governed. You will act as WMCA’s statutory Monitoring Officer and chief legal adviser to the Mayor, Chief Executive, Members and senior officers.
You will lead a high‑performing legal and governance team, manage risk and external counsel, and develop structures and frameworks to support devolution, new powers and investment models across WMCA and its group.
