West Midlands Safari Park is recruiting for an Animal Keeper in our Ungulates section. This role involves husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, health monitoring, and enclosure maintenance for a diverse range of Ungulate species in a drive-through system. The position includes work in the Asia and African sections, monitoring guests in drive-through reserves, and delivering keeper talks.
The ideal candidate is confident, motivated, enthusiastic about wildlife conservation, and possesses excellent communication skills. You should have good wildlife knowledge and an animal-related qualification at HND level or above. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. The role is physically demanding but rewarding.
You must be flexible to work outside standard hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings. A full, valid driving licence is required due to driving in animal-restricted areas.
