About the role
West Midlands Safari Park is recruiting for the position of Facilities Assistant. Responsibilities include litter picking, general tidying, sweeping, maintaining guest and staff areas, and managing guest car parking duties. This role is vital for maintaining high standards on site and involves assisting with the presentation of our park.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a positive \”can do\” attitude and be willing to work hard to ensure our guests have the best experience. We provide excellent on-the-job training to help you develop your skills and build valuable career experiences.
You should be flexible with your working hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings. A driving license is advantageous but not essential.

We are an award-winning visitor attraction located in Worcestershire, England, home to critically endangered species, a four-mile safari drive-through, Discovery Trail, African Village, Lemur Woods, and beautiful walking trails. In 2021, we introduced Safari Lodges—luxury overnight accommodation with views of elephants, giraffes, rhinos, red pandas, lions, tigers, and cheetahs. We also host events at venues like Spring Grove House, Treetops Pavilion, and Cellarz.
