West Midlands Safari Park are currently recruiting for the position of Safari Tour Guide.
Schedule Hours: Up to 37.5, dependent on the needs of the business. Work pattern: Including weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
Responsibilities: As part of this exciting role you will provide an interactive minibus tour experience around our Safari Animal Reserves, sharing knowledge and insight of our zoological collection and other onsite attractions and experiences with our guests. The role will also include up‑selling items such as Animal Food, Guidebooks and our VIP Experiences, daily vehicle checks including physical inspection and any follow up of vital maintenance.
About you: The ideal candidate will need to be highly motivated, have a strong customer focus and possess excellent communication skills as the role is a predominantly guest facing position. Applicants must hold a full UK Driving Licence which includes the category D1 and ideally you will have previous driving experience in a professional capacity. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends and bank holidays. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This disclosure, together with other selected information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
