What do we want?
An exceptional Conference and Events Assistant Manager to join our team at our hotel overseeing three conference rooms that play host to private functions, business meeting and many weddings throughout the year! Supporting your Duty Manager, you will manage all aspects of operational and administrative hospitality overseeing the day to day running of this busy and successful department. You\’ll be hands on, will have a passion for guest service always going above and beyond to be sure your guests have the best possible experience at Drayton Manor.
Your responsibilities as a Conference and Events Assistant Manager will include, but not limited to:
- Managing all aspects of hospitality operationally and administratively to include overseeing three function rooms, four boardrooms, and four bars
- Recruitment, training, and development of your team
- Promoting the right culture for your team and guests
- Upkeep of health and safety promoting good practice
- Managing budgets and enhancing systems to measure effectiveness
- Contributing to the overall strategic plan of the hotel
