Trainer in Worcester

Hours: 7.5 to 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)

Location: Worcester based, with travel across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and some home working.

West Mercia Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) is a specialist charity supporting children, young people and adults affected by sexual violence and abuse across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Through support, advocacy, counselling, prevention and education services, we work to improve outcomes for survivors and create safer communities.

WMRSASC is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Trainer to join our Early Intervention and Prevention Team. Building on WMRSASC's established training provision and reputation for delivering high-quality services, this role will support the continued growth of our training offer, helping to increase capacity, consistency and quality across practitioner learning.

About the Role

This role will help develop and deliver high-quality practitioner training relating to sexual violence and abuse. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you will contribute to the continued development of WMRSASC's training offer through the design and delivery of engaging learning opportunities for professionals and partner organisations.

As part of our growing training provision, you will help strengthen and expand our offer while contributing to the quality, consistency and impact of practitioner learning.

As a Trainer, you will:

• Develop, design and deliver accredited and non-accredited training programmes and learning activities.
• Support the development of blended learning materials, including e-learning content and facilitated online learning sessions.
• Support the creation, review and maintenance of training resources, materials and documentation.
• Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, learners and partner organisations.
• Promote awareness of WMRSASC training and group programmes to multi-agency partners.
• Undertake evaluation, outcome monitoring and data reporting to support the continuous improvement of training programmes.
• Support the coordination of training bookings and associated administration.
• Represent and promote WMRSASC at meetings and events.

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent training and facilitation skills who can engage, inspire and support learners in a range of settings.

• Level 3 qualification or above in training or education.
• Skilled trainer with experience of delivering learning in both face-to-face and online environments.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standards of practice and presentation.
• Experience of working with a range of multi-agency partners.
• Experience of project management within a training, learning or development environment.
• Experience of conducting learning needs analysis.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations.
