You don’t need a badge to make a difference. As part of our police staff team, your skills and perspective help us cut crime, build safer communities and support victims. The main purpose of the role is to work as a member of the Specialist Technical Support Team and provide some local supervision of work colleagues as required, contributing to an efficient and effective Customer Service, ensuring a quality end to end ICT Service for West Mercia Police.
To provide a high level of technical support across West Mercia Police, both to internal customers and to external customers ensuring the department is offering the best level of service in terms of ICT services, specialist applications and equipment.
The Specialist Technical Support Level 4 (Infrastructure) role is a hybrid (mix of home & office working) role.

The role attracts a 5% market supplement based on the base annual salary (this is reviewed yearly in March. Next review March 2027).
Candidates must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years to meet the vetting level required for the post.
