The main purpose of the role is to support Legal Services in maximising the extent to which communities are protected from harm by providing a professional, independent, accessible, timely and cost‑effective legal service to the Chief Constable, Chief Officers and the members of the wider workforce where required. The role will focus on proceeds of crime work and ECU.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as principal legal advisor in various complex matters.
- Deputise for the Head of Legal Services.
- Support multi‑disciplinary initiatives such as proceeds of crime work and ECU.
- Work in a hybrid (home & office) model.
Eligibility
Candidate must have been resident in the UK for the last five years to meet the vetting level required for the post.
