The main purpose of the role is to work as a member of the Specialist Technical Support Team and provide some local supervision of work colleagues as required, contributing to an efficient and effective Customer Service. The role ensures a quality end-to-end ICT Service for West Mercia Police, offering the best level of service in terms of ICT services, specialist applications and equipment to both internal and external customers.

Key Facts About the Role

  • Specialist Technical Support Level 4 (Network) is a hybrid role.
  • This is a CV only process – please ensure your employment history is up to date.
  • Candidates must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years to meet the vetting level required for the post.
  • The salary will include an additional 5% Market Supplement on the base annual salary, reviewed annually on 1st April (next review 1st April 2026).
  • The closing date for this post is 12 noon on Wednesday 15th April 2026.
