We are seeking a number of PIP 2 qualified Police Staff Investigators based in the following locations: Hereford, Kidderminster, Redditch, Shrewsbury, Telford, and Worcester. We will consider PIP 1 qualified candidates if they meet the requirements detailed on the attached role profile.
Although the roles are based in these locations, there may be a requirement to travel between these locations to support investigations. We would ideally like full-time people but we will consider part-time candidates where it would work with our requirements.
The main purpose of the role is to:
- Prevent and detect crime.
- Investigate criminal activity.
- Actively participate in a wide range of evidence gathering and criminal investigation tasks involving victims, witnesses, technical sources, and suspects.
There will be no home working with these roles. This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027. It is a CV only process – please ensure your employment history is up to date.
