West Lothian Drug & Alcohol Service offers a diverse range of services for adults and young people including counselling, psychological therapies, support, education, training, health promotion on drugs/alcohol and harm reduction e.g. Naloxone (THN) training and supply and injecting equipment provision (IEP).

We are looking to recruit a new Business Manager to join the Extended Management Team, taking over financial responsibilities including:

  • Preparation of month end and annual accounts
  • Planning and reporting on financial performance
  • Leading on costing services
  • Supporting commissioning and funding applications
  • Carrying out day to day financial and administration duties
  • Managing facilities including costing and ordering of services and equipment
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Delivering HR-related tasks
  • Supervising the Administrative Team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience with XERO accounts or a similar accounting package
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure

Desirable

  • A recognised business, accountancy, HR or fundraising qualification
  • Significant experience of working at this level
