Recycling & Waste Services are looking to recruit 1 x Permanent employee to cover the collection of domestic waste within the waste services department. This role will be full time on shift C: Friday 9.5hrs, Saturday 6hrs, Sunday 6hrs, Monday 9.5hrs, making the shift a 31hr week. There is a weekend enhancement for the Saturday of 1.5 and Sunday double time.
You must have:
- HGV/LGV licence
- A valid driver’s card
- A valid CPC card
- Certification in the use of various types of HGV vehicles
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work during all weathers and in all conditions
- Knowledge of tachograph and relevant transport legislation
- Knowledge of Waste Management regulations for the transport and disposal of waste products
