Are you a compassionate, experienced leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? We are currently seeking to recruit a manager for Limecroft Residential Care Home located in Livingston, close to local shops and public transport links. Limecroft Care Home is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide accommodation and care for up to 39 older people. The service is managed by West Lothian Council and has achieved Very Good rating at most recent inspection by the Care Inspectorate.
As the home manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Manage and support a team of care and support staff
- Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate and legislative standards
- Develop strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
- Lead on recruitment, staff training, and performance management
- Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council. The fee for a Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or Existing Member is £18. The £59 cost (where appropriate) will be deducted from your salary over a 1 or 3-month period by repayment schedule. If your employment concludes before the amount is re-paid in full, the outstanding balance will be deducted from your final salary.
