Advert 2 x 36 hrs per week, 52.14 weeks per year - Permanent Applications for this post will only be accepted from current employees of West Lothian Council (this includes casual and agency staff who are currently undertaking work for us) Building Services is seeking to recruit highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic Electrical Team Coordinators to support the successful delivery of repairs, planned maintenance, capital investment programmes, and contract works.

These roles will operate across our service areas, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and customer-focused approach to service delivery.

As part of the role, you will also act as a Qualified Supervisor in support of the Council's membership of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), ensuring electrical works are carried out in accordance with current regulations, standards, and certification requirements.

As an Electrical Team Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role in managing teams of operatives and contractors to ensure works are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects, including large-scale capital investment programmes and long-term, multi-year improvement projects that will have a lasting impact on our housing stock and communities.

About You We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality services and possess the leadership, technical expertise, and organisational skills required to succeed in a fast-paced operational environment.

You will have: A recognised qualification as a time-served Electrician (SVQ Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation or a nationally recognised equivalent).

Certification in the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (SCQF Level 6 Certificate in Wiring Regulations or a nationally recognised equivalent).
