Inveralmond Community High School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is committed to improvement and excellence. Inveralmond Community High School is a comprehensive non-denominational school situated in the Ladywell area of Livingston and serves a cluster of six primary schools. The school roll is around 1000, and it is a very supportive environment with a relentless focus on driving up standards. The school provides a broad education for young people from first year through to sixth year and offers a full curriculum.

The successful candidate will have the necessary experience to assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence in order to support the improvement agenda of the authority. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment, and the cost will be met by the candidate. The fee for a Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or Existing Member is £18.
