Letham Primary School is a non-denominational school situated in the Craigshill area of Livingston. The school works hard to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for children and their families in an area of economic and social deprivation. The school currently has a Senior Leadership Team that consists of a Head teacher, an Acting DHT, and three Principle Teachers, working across 2 schools, Letham Primary and Riverside Primary.

Our parents are very supportive of the school and through regular opportunities parents engage in the wider life of the school and have provided effective feedback to move our school forward. Our free breakfast club is well attended.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Supervisory Assistant to join our school team to support during the school breakfast club period, Monday to Friday. We are keen to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
