An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer within the Roads and Transportation service leading the Structures team. Working as a key member of the Roads and Transportation service you will assist the Design Engineering Manager deliver one of the key functions of the service.
Responsible for the leadership of day to day activities of road related structures dealing with the design of new works, general and principal condition assessments and design of maintenance activities for bridges and other roads related structures.
Applicants require to be registered with the Engineering Council at Chartered Engineer level, have knowledge and experience of bridges and other roads related structures, project management skills with a working knowledge of contract management and well-developed communication skills with the ability to manage multiple demands under pressure and meet targets.
