36 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, 7.5% shift allowance, Permanent.

Working within Roads Operations, the post holder will provide, as part of a team, a comprehensive service relating to the construction and maintenance of roads and footpaths. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of specialist tasks involving all aspects of the maintenance of roads and footpaths. This will include the setting out of work, tasks associated with road, footway, drainage, road markings, signing and street lighting equipment, specialist tasks and the driving or operation of complex plant and equipment.

The post holder will participate in the delivery of the Roads Winter Service, which includes standby as required and may involve driving HGV gritters, snowploughs & mini tractors and/or hand clearing and gritting. The post holder will also participate in the delivery of Roads Emergency Service provision, including out of hours standby if required.
