Whitdale Primary School and nursery is situated within the village of Whitburn and serves the local area.

The nursery setting consists of am, pm and full day learners aged between two and five.

The nursery is open 50 weeks per year and staff work flexibly across the opening hours.

The ELC provides spacious learning areas, a garden area, an indoor/outdoor room.

Whitdale ELC is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Advanced Pupil Support Worker within our ELC Team.

To be as part of a forward-thinking team and bringing sound knowledge of child development.

Working hours for this post are 12.5 hours Monday- Tuesday 9.00am-12.00pm, Wednesday- Thursday 9.00am-12.15 This position requires registration with the SSSC.

The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.

SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date.

If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.
