Windyknowe Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and nurturing ELC Practitioner to join the team in the nursery. The successful candidate will work as part of a forward-thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality, caring interactions and learning and teaching experiences.
The post is a fixed term, part time post - working mornings Monday to Friday. The post-holder must be educated to HNC/SVQ3 level in Early Education and Childcare or provide equivalent qualifications and be able to demonstrate breadth and depth of experience in an early year's educational establishment. The post-holder must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a practitioner and will be subject to Enhanced Disclosure.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
