Mid Calder Primary is a non-denominational primary school serving the village of Mid Calder and the surrounding community. At present the school roll is 198 pupils as well as a 30:30 nursery provision. The staff consists of the Head Teacher, Principal Teacher and 13 teaching staff. Mid Calder PS works very closely with its cluster schools and has well developed and mutually successful and supportive partnership links with local community groups and businesses. The school and ELC have earned a very good reputation within the community and are both very well supported by the parent council and the wider parent forum.
At Mid Calder Primary School, you will become part of a hardworking and committed staff team. We are seeking an enthusiastic Supervisory Assistant to join our school team to support during the school breakfast club period, 1.5 hours per day Monday to Friday.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
