Weekend Enhancement West Lothian Council reserves the right to close this post early depending on applicant response levels.
A typical working week will be Thursday and Friday.
This post will also require the candidate to work alternate Saturdays (weekend enhancement included), with an alternate working weekday to be determined upon appointment.
West Lothian Council Justice Services is establishing a Programmes Team.
This specialised team will deliver the UP2U healthy relationships programme, Moving Forward to Change (MF2C) and the Caledonian System.
We are looking to recruit a part-time Social Worker to work within the Service and support the implementation of our new Programmes Team.
The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate 1:1 and group work delivery with diverse, complex and challenging cases including violent and sexual offenders.
Candidates must meet the essential criteria: BA in Social Work or other approved Social Work qualification.
Good understanding of the challenges of the client group Must be prepared to work with violent and sexual offenders.
