A vacancy has arisen within the Housing Strategy and Development Team for a Planning and Coordination Officer to join a team which strives for excellence and innovation in service delivery and works well with partners.
You will assist the Team Manager Housing Strategy and New Supply within a vibrant environment in the development and deployment of housing strategies and policies and the successful delivery of the ambitious affordable housing programme.
The Housing Strategy and Development Team is one of six service units within Housing, Customer and Building Services providing a wide range of services including the delivery of the affordable housing programme, the housing capital investment programme and the development of housing policy and strategy for the service.
This permanent role represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual. With a professional manner and excellent communication skills, you should be able to work to deadlines with a sound knowledge of housing strategy and project management.

Essential- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (housing, construction, property, planning).
