In order to assist in the delivery of the Councils capital investment programme, an opportunity exists within West Lothian Council Construction Services for a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to deliver a wide range of construction projects and planned improvements.
The postholder will be responsible for:
- Carrying out mechanical engineering design
- Contract administration
- Professional advice and liaison with external design teams/lead consultants
It would be advantageous to have experience in the retrofit of heating and water systems in public buildings.
