A great opportunity has arisen for dynamic individuals to join our HR Information & Systems team, responsible for reviewing HR payroll systems and processes in addition to providing analytical and reporting services for the Council and partner organisations. Liaising with Senior Managers, partner organisations and external suppliers of services to the council, the post holder will be responsible for developing and producing a range of management information essential to support strategic projects.
In addition, work as a team to provide and develop systems administration for the Council’s HR and payroll systems. Candidates should be educated to HNC level in an HR or related management qualification or have the relevant work experience. The successful candidate should have previous experience of working with HR/Payroll systems, using information technology to support management processes.
The ability to analyse, assess, problem solve and make decisions in a timely manner is essential for this role. Working in a small but busy team, communication is key as well as the ability to manage a demanding workload, prioritising and organising to respond to changing demands. Ideally the successful candidate would have experience of working within local government but this is not essential.
In addition, working experience of the integrated HR/Payroll system, iTrent, would be preferential however training will be provided. This post is categorised as a hybrid post under the Council’s Flexible Working Scheme, which allows for up to two days home working per week.
