Low Port Primary School is a non-denominational primary school situated in the centre of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It is part of the Linlithgow Academy High School cluster. The roll of the school is 176, with pupils organised into eight classes, two of which are composites. There is currently no nursery provision at Low Port, so our incoming P1s come from a wide range of council and private nurseries throughout the catchment area.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Supervisory Assistant to support playground supervision – Tuesday to Thursday 55 minutes a day, working effectively as part of a team to support our younger learners to thrive both socially and academically meeting the needs of young children and their families.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
