Working as a key member of the Roads and Transportation Service you will assist in the delivery of one of the key functions of the service.
You will work directly to the Senior Engineer – Road Maintenance delivering the team’s functions and road asset management activities including: investigation of customer enquiries and complaints; asset inspections; asset surveys; small scale design of road repairs; the preparation of minor works orders; and supervision of contractors on site.
Applicants are required to have an appropriate certification to SVQ level 2 (or equivalent). In addition, applicants should have ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and bills of quantities; good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills; and a full driving licence.
