Job Advert 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Fixed Term until 12 April 2027 Cedarbank School has a fixed term vacancy for an Advanced Pupil Support Worker involving work with primary and secondary stage pupils.

The role is a fixed term contract starting on completion of employment checks until 04 January 2026.

Cedarbank School is a special school which provides children and young people who have additional learning and care needs an opportunity to access high quality learning and teaching.

The curriculum is designed and adapted to meet the diverse needs of the individual learners.

The school is based in Livingston and has strong community links.

The school roll comprised of up to 110 pupils, Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, 2 Principal Teachers, 18 members of the teaching staff and a team of 24 pupil support workers.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.

The fee for a Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or Existing Member is £18.

The £59 cost (where appropriate) will be deducted from your salary over a 1 or 3-month period by repayment schedule.

If your employment concludes before the amount is re-paid in full, the outstanding balance will be deducted from your final salary.
