Building Services is looking to recruit highly motivated, time-served Gas Engineers to join our expanding in-house Central Heating Installation Teams.

\n

These are permanent positions supporting the delivery of the Council's multi-year capital investment programme, providing long-term job security and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team delivering new and replacement heating systems across our housing stock.

\n

The successful candidates will be predominantly responsible for the installation and commissioning of central heating systems and associated gas appliances within Council properties. There may also be opportunities to undertake servicing, maintenance and repair work during periods of increased service demand or operational requirements.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and forward-thinking service with a strong pipeline of work, ongoing investment in training and development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services for our tenants and customers.

\n

You should be passionate about customer care and health and safety, and take pride in the quality of your workmanship.

\n

You will also have the opportunity to participate in the Council's out-of-hours emergency service, for which you will receive an additional payment.
