The setting consists of am, pm and full day learners aged between three and five.

The nursery provides spacious learning areas and there is a large outdoor and garden area.

St Paul’s Nursery falls under the management of St Paul’s Primary School, which is situated in the same building.

The setting is open 50 weeks per year and staff work flexibly on a rota across the opening hours.

St Paul’s Nursery School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Advanced Pupil Support Worker to join our Nursery team and provide 1:1 support with one of our learners.

The post hours will be split over Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

The successful candidate will work as part of a forward-thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and additional support needs.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.

From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.

Candidates require to hold full registration as a practitioner with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
