Broxburn Primary School and ELC is situated within Broxburn and serves the local area.
The setting consists of am, pm and full day learners aged between three and five.
The ELC provides learning areas both inside and outside and has links to the local community.
The setting is open 50 weeks per year, and staff work flexibly on a rota across the opening hours.
At Broxburn Primary School and ELC, you will become part of a hardworking and committed Nursery team, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Advanced Pupil Support Worker who can provide 1:1 support with some of our learners β 4 mornings Monday -Thursday.
The successful candidate will work as part of a forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and additional support needs.
This position requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
The successful candidate will have three months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC and to complete a relevant qualification within five years This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.
From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
