Murrayfield Early Learning Centre (ELC), located in Blackburn, operates during term time with children attending from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM. We are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated and motivated ELC practitioner on a fixed-term basis, for 15 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday).

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong knowledge of early childhood play and development, and who are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. The role will involve collaborating effectively with our nursery team to plan, evaluate, and report on the progress of the children in our care.

The post-holder must be educated to HNC/SVQ3 level in Early Education and Childcare or provide equivalent qualifications and be able to demonstrate breadth and depth of experience in an early year’s educational establishment.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
