31 hours per week, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday) 52.14 weeks per year, Permanent.

Recycling & Waste Services are looking to recruit 1 x Permanent employee to cover the collection of domestic waste within the waste services department. This role will be full time on shift C: Friday 9.5hrs/Saturday 6hrs/Sunday 6hrs/Monday 9.5hrs, making the shift a 31hr week. There is a weekend enhancement for the Saturday of 1.5 and Sunday double time.

You must have:

  • HGV/LGV licence
  • A valid driver's card
  • A valid CPC card
  • Certification in the use of various types of HGV vehicles
  • The ability to work during all weathers and in all conditions
  • Knowledge of tachograph and relevant transport legislation
  • Knowledge of Waste Management regulations for the transport and disposal of waste products
