An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful, dynamic and supportive school team within Boghall Primary School. The school is a non-denominational primary with 10 classes and an early learning centre.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to join our support team to support learning and teaching. Under the teacher’s direction they will work within the learning environment to support pupil learning, organise resources and carry out duties relating to pupil pastoral support. They will promote an ethos of achievement through the development of positive relationships and will have due regard for the health and safety of the young people they are working with.
This position requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. The successful candidate will have three months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC and to start working towards a relevant qualification within a 5 year period. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your registration.
